1. WE LISTENED
Sphero wanted to create noise around one of their big trade events in London. The BETT show attracts over 34,000 of Europe's most passionate educators and Sphero wanted to stand out from the crowd.
2. WE CREATED
We felt that a smart use of time and money was to create local content with a more local tone on event to allow US based Head Office team to focus on an event they had in US. The idea being that we delivered local content in local tone on local time zone for local people.
3. WE SHARED
We developed a set of approved pieces of content with management to ensure we were on brand. This gave Sphero the confidence that we understood their brand. As we were going to be at the event It was agreed that we would also capture content daily and post it line with real time sentiment from the show. We created 50 photos and 20 videos that could be reused on other platforms.
4. WE DELIVERED
25% increase across all 3 social channels from local posts. 292% increase on Instagram from stories. This project certainly showed us that even for trade events topical, localised, timely and engaging content can bring targeted audience to channels and show booths.
